The International Cricket Council has officially announced the squads for the highly anticipated ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 Final between Australia and India. The final will be held at The Oval from 7th to 11th June. From this point forward, any changes to the squads will require approval from the Event Technical Committee.
Dubbed as the “Ultimate Test,” the WTC Final has set aside 12th June as a reserve day to compensate for any possible loss of play during the scheduled five days.
This is the second edition of the WTC, which was introduced in 2019 to bring significance and context to the longer format of the game. In the inaugural edition, New Zealand emerged as the champions, defeating India by eight wickets in the final held in Southampton.
